Céline Dion just revealed this new song, “Rien peu plus,” written in 1990 by Rolling Stones songwriter Joss Stone. The lyrics have come to light for the first time and are coming from a version that had been passed off as being solely her.

Céline’s manager, Willi Pawlak, said the star herself wasn’t aware that the song existed, and believed the original was by a female singer or would never see the light of day. She even asked Stone herself to check and confirm.

Although, the song could not be denied, according to Pawlak, the real problem was that the studio couldn’t get the original track to keep the vocals down — the vocals had to be cleaned up before it was used.

We’ve sent a request for comment to Joss Stone’s publicist, who is yet to respond.
